New Sporty Car From Perodua - Myvi Extreme!!

Sporty Myvi

PERODUA has launched two Myvi variants that feature a bigger engine and a sportier appearance.
The Myvi SE (Special Edition) and Myvi Extreme – available in five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions – have been introduced to further boost the sales of Perodua’s flagship model.
The 1.5-litre DOHC, 16V DVVT engine is the main star of these variants. This engine, shared with the Alza MPV, delivers maximum power of 102bhp at 6,000rpm and produces maximum torque of 136Nm at 4400rpm.
As for performance, the manual variant of the 1.5-litre Myvi SE and Extreme can accelerate from zero to 100kph in 9.98 seconds compared with the previous 1.3-litre Myvi SE’s 12.49 seconds.
The Myvi Extreme is availabe in three colours, one of which is solid Majestic Yellow.
Another benefit of a 1.5-litre engine is quicker response, smooth acceleration and, of course, plenty of torque and power for a balanced ride.
The new variants are equipped with anti-lock breaking system (ABS), which allows the driver to manoeuvre the vehicle while braking. This allows for greater control of the vehicle in an emergency.
In addition, an electronic brakeforce distribution feature is included to further enhance the ABS as the EBD distributes breaking power to each wheel according to different driving conditions and vehicle loads.
The SE comes in solid Majestic Yellow, solid Ivory White, metallic Mystical Purple, metallic Ebony Black and metallic Glittering Silver.
The Extreme is available in solid Majestic Yellow, solid Ivory White and metallic Ebony Black.
Prices (OTR with insurance) range from RM50,900 to RM61,700.
The SE manual and automatic are RM50,900 and RM53,900 respectively, while the SE automatic with sat-nav is RM56,000. The Extreme manual and automatic are RM58,200 and RM61,200, respectively.
All prices quoted are for solid colour variants, with metallic colours costing an extra RM500. Bookings are now open at all 178 Perodua showrooms nationwide.
